Good oral health is essential for any healthy lifestyle. Bi-annual checkups and professional cleanings are necessary for good oral health and overall wellness. Research has shown that poor oral health can be linked to multiple medical conditions, including heart disease.
Early Orthodontic Intervention
We offer Orthodontic screenings, as well as early Orthodontic Intervention Treatments. These treatments can be started in children as early as 5 years of age. This type of treatment is designed to correct the growth of the jaws and other abnormalities, and it often prevents the need for more comprehensive orthodontic treatment later in life. So why wait to solve a problem if you are able to prevent it! Inquire about our Myobrace .
Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Nitrous Oxide is a gas, and is commonly known as happy gas or laughing gas. Nitrous Oxide is commonly given to children to help reduce any pain or anxiety during dental treatment. The gas is given through a small nosepiece, and your child will be awake throughout the procedure. Because it works so fast and is easily reversible, this type of sedation is also ideal for very anxious adult patients or for more complex procedures such as surgical wisdom teeth removals.
Crowns are “caps” that are placed over damaged tooth structure. Crowns look like natural and healthy teeth and if done correctly, you can not see the difference between crowns and the natural teeth. Crowns are recommended when there are not sufficient tooth structure left to hold a filling, especially in Root Canal Treated teeth. They are also often used to replace old unaesthetic fillings and in teeth that are prone to fracture.
Veneers - Resin or Ceramic
A Veneer is a thin layer of porcelain or resin that is made to fit perfectly onto an existing tooth. It is made to match your natural tooth shape and color, or to change your tooth shape and color as needed to create a more aesthetically pleasing smile. Veneers are more conservative than crowns and are used mainly to correct aesthetics.
Bridges are uses to close spaces/gaps where teeth are missing (due to extractions, trauma etc). Often, these gaps are too small or are not suited for implant placement. The teeth on either side of the gap are then used as anchorage and are attached to the missing tooth. This is specifically made for the mouth and are then permanently cemented into place.
Botox is a substance that has been used for decades to help improve wrinkles that are caused by muscle movement. It works by blocking nerve signals in the muscles where it is injected. When those nerve signals are interrupted, the affected muscle is temporarily paralyzed or frozen. Without movement of these selected muscles in the face, certain wrinkles may be softened, reduced, or even removed.
The most common wrinkles that Botox can treat are lines on the upper face, such as the “11” between the brows (frown lines), horizontal lines on the forehead, and crow’s feet around the eyes. These lines are caused by smiling, frowning, squinting, and other facial expressions.
Botox is not a permanent treatment. Repeated treatments are necessary for continued wrinkle-reducing effects. Most people find that the muscle-relaxing effect of Botox lasts for 3 to 4 months.
**All Botox will be ordered when appointment is scheduled.
